Mission:
The Missouri Historical Records Advisory Board promotes and supports identification of, preservation of, and access to all historical records in Missouri.
Function:
The Missouri Historical Records Advisory Board is the central advisory body for historical records planning and National Historical Publications and Records Commission-funded projects in the state, serving as a coordinating body to facilitate cooperation and communication among historical records repositories and information agencies within the state and as a state-level review body for proposals to the National Historical Publications and Records Commission grant program. It is also the advisory board for the Local Records Preservation Program grant program.
