Gov. Matt Blunt’s METS Initiative Update:

The final report from the METS Alliance was presented to the Governor on September 12, 2006. Members from the Alliance met in the Governor’s office to provide a summary of their recommendations. A copy of the report is available here.

The Governor is in the process of reviewing the recommendations. The METS Alliance is committed to moving this initiative forward. Members of the Alliance will be partnering with educators and business leaders to begin implementing recommendations. They currently are traveling around the state to present the report at board meetings and conferences.
