Gov. Nixon appoints Henrickson to University of Missouri Board of Curators
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Gov. Jay Nixon has appointed Pamela Q. Henrickson, of Jefferson City, to serve on the University of Missouri Board of Curators, which oversees the operation of the four-campus University of Missouri System. She will begin serving on the board immediately.
"I am pleased to appoint Pam Henrickson to this important board that guides the University of Missouri system," Gov. Nixon said. "The board faces many crucial decisions ahead as the universities in the system continue to provide a top-notch education to their students."
Henrickson, a Republican, is a partner in the Jefferson City law firm of Goller, Feather & Henrickson, and has been with the firm since 2003. From 1986 to 2002, she was assistant director and general counsel to the Missouri Division of Design and Construction, the division responsible for real estate leasing, land acquisition and construction of state-owned facilities.
She earned her law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law, and her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University. Henrickson has been active in numerous civic and non-profit agencies and organizations in central Missouri.
Henrickson will represent the Fourth Congressional District on the board; the Governor has appointed her to a term ending Jan. 1, 2017. The appointment will be subject to approval by the Missouri Senate.
